“The call to adventure is the point in a person’s life when they are first given notice that everything is going to change, whether they know it or not” ~ Joseph Campbell, The Hero’s Journey

We all experience periods where we feel separated and alone. We purposefully cut ourselves off from others so we can avoid dealing with painful issues, or prevent the success that we are afraid of achieving. One of the easiest ways to reconnect is simply by stating the intention of doing so.

Change is hard for a healthy person, let alone someone who is compromised. Feeling the overwhelm, resistance, attachment, guilt, despair, shame. . .  One thing I can say is this. To the degree that you are willing to be open to the experience and stick with it, you will not be the same person you are now.

When I started my journey to build my new empire, I had no idea what I was in store for. This new self has been there all along, patiently waiting on the sidelines to come out and play.

It can’t be done alone though. Seeking knowledge from the masters is imperative. I sought out the one who I knew in my heart would be the best in his field (maybe even before he did) and learned from him and then applied those principles and philosophies.

Help enough people get what they want out of life, and you will be taken care of in a big way. Just keep investing in yourself, and encourage others to do the same.  Those who have the hunger to learn, grow, and become better will find what they need to win.
